Even tho I edited for years, I've always hired pros to edit my own manuscripts. Perhaps it's ego, or maybe it's knowing my books are 'out there' for everyone to see & read, so I want them to be the best. Readers may not always like WHAT I write, but they can't complain on HOW I've written my novels. And that's works for me.
