I just finished reading Bill O'Reilly's "Killing Patton," and while I don't usually comment on other people's work (everyone has their own opinion), I thought you all might want to hear this.
I spent $20.00 to read a written narrative of the movie I paid $4.00 to see in 1970. That's all it was! Greatly disappointing. The last chapter detailed the accident that eventually caused Patton's death and the Afterword itemized inquiries made to which no answers were found. Of the 320 pages or so, those last 13 were the only ones that contained anything most of us don't already know. I definitely don't recommend this book. I haven't read his others (Killing Lincoln, Kennedy, and Jesus)
and now, won't.
