A quick and easy recipe my son loved while growing up.
I lb hamburger or whatever ground meat you prefer
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 box frozen tater tots
Lightly spray a casserole dish with oil, and since my son didn't like cooked onions, I simply pressed the ground beef into a casserole dish, added salt & pepper, then poured the soup, undiluted, over the hamburger. On the top, I used frozen tater tots and I didn't season those. I let it cook uncovered for about an hour in a 350 degree oven.
As my son grew older, I lightly browned the hamburger, chopped onions, and pressed that mixture into the casserole dish.
I usually added a salad and a vegetable. A simple meal after a busy day.
