Have a fun, safe Halloween!

Many years ago I dressed up in my scariest outfit, scoured the neighborhood streets Trick or Treating, and stuffed my bag with wonderful homemade goodies - fresh brownies, popcorn balls, fudge. Then, when it was my son's turn, he dressed up and and did the same, but as the years passed, I heard the terrible things people in our own neighborhoods were doing to the treats. Children were hospitalized and some didn't make it back home.

Everything changed. Today going door-to-door is no longer safe, so I love the hosted parties from the shopping malls to our local organizations. Good for them!

So if your child, grandchild, is going Trick or Treating tonight, I wish them a wonderful safe night.
