Israel's attack on America

I have a few thoughts for those that try to say this was an accident.

1. Even if Israel thought the Liberty was an Egyptian ship, what justified the attack in international waters.

2. As soon as the Liberty's radar picked up the Israel planes entering its airspace they would have identified themselves and asked the Israel planes to do the same. An accidental attack would have been averted/

3. Within ten seconds of the first shot the Liberty would have identified itself and Israel should had broken contact.

4. If it were an Israel ship attacked, they would have accepted no excuse and would have launched an attack on the offender.  So why didn't we scramble fighters from a carrier and turn Israel back into a desert?

Don, I suppose one hesitates to retaliate against a friend. Even in our personal lives, there are those who call us friend when it serves their purpose. Wolves in Sheep's clothing.
