Hi Don!

And thanks. I just wish I could write as fast as you. I'm a 'muller' and mull over every little thing.

I mull over the outline, then just take off.  I also have the luxury of being retired so I can write eight/ten hours at a time for five/six days in a row.  Don't have a lot of outside interests except caregiver to my wife.  Writing keeps me from going crazy...okay from going any crazier.

Thanks, Victoria. Harlequin's WW Mysteries are a secondary market, but I'm happy, especially since Gale/Cengage released it only as a hardback. It'll be over a year since I signed the paperback contract, which is one of the reasons for L. Cooper Press.

And I'm happy to see you here. Hoping you're feeling better.

It'll be released to Harlequin's mystery subscribers as a mass market paperback. They're also reviewing Ten Times Guilty for the same market. If approved, the paperback would be released sometime in 2016

Wow Brenda, you're on a roll.
Before long we will be saying how we knew Brenda before she became "Rich and Famous."

I hope so, Abe! I'd love to be 'rich & famous' and be able to afford all the luxuries in life. On second thought, not so sure about the famous part. I have bad hair days and wouldn't want to be recognized, but I'd still love the rich part.

Agree, Brenda.
Being in the public light may seem great, but the reality is much different. You lose your privacy and if there are any things in your past you thought were secret, they become public. I sure wouldn't want some things of my past made public, however I don't think that applies to you.
We may discover just what makes you tick.

You're right about the reality, Abe. I experienced it in a small way in my own city. As the restaurant reviewer, I was recognized each time I entered a restaurant simply to have lunch/dinner, and it was sometimes difficult, especially if I were with a friend and we wanted to talk. Usually the cook/chef/servers would come over to chat, and while that was nice, it made it hard to have a conversation with my friend. And sometimes, if I were tired and irritable, I'd have to go further out to have dinner.

And Don, for a while I thought that actually might happen. There was interest in adapting it for a screenplay, but I think negotiations went on so long that interest waned.

'From your lips to God's ear,' as it's said.

I've actually had two bites about a tv movie, but so far nothing has happened. I got very excite at first, but now i'm concentrating on my next novel. But am I ever rusty!
