Yesterday evening at the writers workshop, we discussed hooklines for our novels, and we came up with some great ones for our members. I'm so proud of us. It took many tries and discussions back and forth, but we did it!

Writers Workshop

I attended this workshop and found it to be EXTREMELY helpful. I went from manuscript, to chapter, to synopsis, to blurb, to hook line; easy to hard, hard to difficult, and difficult to %x&?@#? ! Had I started with the hook line, I would have found out how important each word is, not only in the hook line, but in every sentence you write.
